ELECTRICIAN TEAM LEADER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Oversee and perform troubleshooting, installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
2. Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
3. Lead, guide, and coordinate job assignments for the electrical team.
4. Respond to emergency service calls promptly.
5. Conduct weekly or as required toolbox meetings to increase awareness of various topics (e.g., checklists of preventive measures, work permits).
6. Provide training and coaching to junior technicians.
7. Provide inputs to enable Facilities/MEP Engineers to prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Client to report progress on compliance with SLAs.
8. Track job-related correspondence and maintain accurate records.
9. Allocate resources and monitor task assignments within the team.
10. Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians.
11. Evaluate team performance and implement productivity initiatives.
12. Manage work orders, including scheduling, assignments, review, and close-out.
13. Implement and maintain reliability best practices throughout the facility.
14. Conduct site visits to assess electrical needs and provide solutions.
15. Record attendance/OT of staff and send to Facilities coordinators.
16. Monitor inventory and procurement of materials as per project requirements.
17. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
