Senior Finance Manager

As a Senior Finance Manager, with a passion for sports, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Sport360X. This role will include managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

You will ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards and provide leadership in the financial planning and management of the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

1. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Provide variance analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. Provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
4. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization. Develop cash flow projections and implement strategies to optimize liquidity.
5. Establish and maintain effective internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Manage compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
6. Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and tax filings. Implement recommendations from audits and manage risk appropriately.
7. Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and new business opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed:

You thrive in a dynamic startup environment, where agility, proactivity, and hands-on execution are key.

You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; and preferably are CPA or CMA qualified.

You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the media or sports industry.

You have a strong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting.

You possess excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

You have strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
