Job Description:

The Wedding Planner is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of wedding events in a food and beverage establishment. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create memorable experiences for couples and their guests. The Wedding Planner collaborates with clients, vendors, and the venue's team to ensure a seamless and successful wedding celebration.

Responsibilities:

  1. Meet with clients to understand their wedding vision, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
  2. Assist clients in selecting suitable venues, themes, and décor for their wedding ceremony and reception.
  3. Coordinate with vendors, such as florists, photographers, caterers, and musicians, to secure their services and ensure their timely delivery.
  4. Create detailed event timelines, including the sequence of events, setup, and breakdown, to ensure smooth execution.
  5. Assist clients with budget management, providing cost estimates, tracking expenses, and recommending cost-effective options.
  6. Arrange and oversee venue tours, tastings, and rehearsals to ensure all arrangements meet the clients' expectations.
  7. Coordinate all logistical aspects, including guest seating, transportation, accommodations, and event permits.
  8. Provide guidance and support to the clients throughout the wedding planning process, offering creative ideas and solutions.
  9. Manage communication with clients and vendors, addressing any concerns or changes to the wedding plans.
  10. Ensure all legal and contractual obligations are met, such as obtaining necessary permits and licenses.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Wedding Planner or in event planning, preferably with a focus on weddings.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple weddings and tasks simultaneously.
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to execute events flawlessly, considering every aspect of the wedding experience.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, vendors, and the venue's team.
  5. Creative mindset with the ability to suggest unique ideas and themes for weddings.
  6. Proficiency in using event planning software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring a seamless wedding experience for clients.
  8. Knowledge of the local wedding industry, including popular vendors, venues, and trends.
  9. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules.
  10. Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client information.
