Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements governing plant operation.
Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and availability of plant equipment and infrastructure.
Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment failures, and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
Monitor plant performance metrics, including energy production, efficiency, availability, and downtime, and implement measures to optimize performance.
Identify opportunities for performance improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains through data analysis and operational optimization initiatives.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship among plant staff and contractors, emphasizing adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents or incidents.
Lead and mentor a team of operations and maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness and competency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, energy management, or related field.
Proven experience in plant management, operations, or maintenance, preferably in the renewable energy or power generation industry.
