Job Description

Housekeeping Attendant

Passionate about Housekeeping? As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will work with your team to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

To provide a consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas and circulatory areas that meets the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Cleans and maintains areas of responsibility according to set standards and procedures
  2. Replenish guest supplies
  3. Ensure guests requests are promptly and courteously met
  4. Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas to Supervisor
  5. Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repair
  6. Maintain a section room report as well as a daily productivity report
  7. Attend daily briefings with supervisor and takes on daily assigned tasks
  8. Reports lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately
  9. Handle guest complaints, reporting them to Supervisor immediately
  10. Report unusual behavior/activities in guestroom, floors/public areas to Supervisor
  11. Record room status in allocated section accurately
  12. Comply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy
  13. Adhere to personnel grooming and hygiene standards
  14. Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  15. Carry out valet services when required (e.g. delivery of linen, processing laundry orders)
  16. Fully understands the difference in guest levels (VIPs) and Room Categories
  17. Must adhere to all Lost and Found procedures
  18. Proper follow up of HK SOPs
  19. Must comply with all fire evacuation procedures and first aid trainings
  20. Must comply with Sofitel grooming standards
  21. To attend proper trainings and have best conduct at work

Qualifications

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  1. Good organizational skills
  2. Good level of engagement with guests
  3. Good knowledge of Housekeeping Operations

Qualifications

  1. Secondary education
  2. Good Housekeeping knowledge

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment.
