Senior Engineer ICT

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer ICT to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Information and Communications Technology department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge ICT solutions that drive our organization's technological advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of complex networking solutions including active equipment configuration (core switches, distribution switches, routers, and WiFi systems).
• Develop and oversee structured cabling designs for large-scale projects ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Spearhead server and data center design initiatives incorporating best practices and innovative technologies.
• Ensure compliance with regional telecom and security codes/regulations in the UAE and broader Middle East region.
• Design and implement advanced audiovisual systems including acoustic studies and professional sound solutions.
• Oversee the integration of low voltage systems such as Fire Detection & Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, and Public Address/Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems.
• Develop comprehensive building management system designs including equipment schedules, specifications, I/O matrices, and sequence of operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver ICT solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the organization's competitive edge.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of progressive experience in ICT engineering with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and solutions including LAN/WAN design and implementation.
• Proven expertise in structured cabling design and implementation (fiber optics, Cat6/6A/7).
• Extensive experience in server and data center design including cooling and power distribution systems.
• In-depth understanding of UAE and Middle East telecom and security regulations.
• Proficiency in audiovisual system design, preferably with relevant certifications.
• Demonstrated experience in low voltage systems integration (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA).
• Strong background in building management systems and smart building technologies.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working on ICT projects across the Middle East.
