Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

To head & drive the overall Accounts, Taxation & Company Secretarial Functions i.e. Project as well as Operational Accounting.

To set up effective accounting controls and financial management. Review, Analyse, Improve & Monitor Accounting System to ensure that the financial data is recorded accurately and timely and in accordance with accounting principles/ standards.

Liaise with Banks / NBFCs / Financial Institutions.

Provide financial support to the fund raising team for catering to the funding requirements of all projects of the group. Coordinating with Financers for Completion of Financial Due diligence, Preparation of Business plan for loan in various Joint Venture.

Management information System, risk identification, assessment of impact and mitigation actions.

Managing annual operating plan, balance sheet. Managing cash flow throughout the project cycle. Coordinating with CRM function to understand the collection status which will impact cash flow.

Project Costing & MIS.

Capital allocation to various projects depending upon the time line and cash flow priorities to ensure optimal mobilization of funds.

Monitor audits and compliances: Taxation, Statutory.

Implementing accounting/financial systems with a view to ensure smooth accounting operations. Ensuring Books of Accounts, Financial statements, Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash Flow statements are maintained as per the norms.

Presenting the actual financial position considering reconciliation of financial statements.

Taxation: Ensuring Depositing & filing returns of TDS, GST according to the Tax Laws. Ensuring adherence of direct and indirect taxation as per the tax laws.

Liaise with the Taxation authorities.

Dealing with the auditors and resolve queries, if any.

Evaluating internal control systems/procedures with a view to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations.

Statutory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to statutory compliances applicable as per the applicable Company Act.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Gender Specifications if any: Male
  • Education level: Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience: 15+ years of strong & relevant experience.
  • Specific Industry / Role Experience, if any: Real Estate

  • Supervises (Job Title & Headcount) - Headcount - 15 Nos. Executive to sr. Manager

    • Business Process Skills - Should be well versed with systems, processes and accounting practices.
