Property Caretaker

We are seeking a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Property Caretaker for a private property. This role involves managing the day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep of a private property.

Property Maintenance and Upkeep

• Conduct regular inspections of the property, including property, grounds, and equipment, to ensure they are in excellent condition.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to keep the property safe and operational.
• Oversee landscaping activities and maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces to enhance the property’s aesthetic appeal.
• Liaise with Supervisor to manage scheduled maintenance and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure availability for regular operations and maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in property caretaking, estate management, or a similar role is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of property maintenance, horticulture, and security protocols.
• Proficiency with basic tools and equipment for maintenance tasks is essential.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with property owners, residents, and service providers.
• Problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
• Physical stamina required to handle manual tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
