We are excited to announce our expansion into Dubai, and we're looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager to lead our pre-opening phase and launch our first BrewDog venue in the UAE.
As the General Manager for BrewDog Dubai's pre-opening phase, you will play a crucial role in the establishment, growth, and success of our new venue. You will lead a talented team in creating a unique BrewDog experience in the heart of Dubai, ensuring that everything from the day-to-day operations to the overall brand vision is executed with excellence.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in hospitality and operational management, particularly in opening new establishments. You'll be at the forefront of BrewDog's exciting expansion in the Middle East, helping us make our mark on Dubai's vibrant food and beverage scene.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring an outstanding customer experience in line with BrewDog's brand ethos and values.
- Hire, train, and mentor a passionate team, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
- Implement high standards for service, quality control, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and optimize operational processes, including cost control, inventory management, and staff performance.
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop, execute, and track key performance metrics for success.
- Lead by example, ensuring exceptional service, product quality, and brand consistency at all times.
- Foster relationships with local suppliers, customers, and the craft beer community to grow BrewDog's presence and reputation in Dubai.
- Prepare and manage budgets, set financial goals, and ensure that the venue is profitable and operating within budget.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, adjusting strategies to meet profitability targets.
- Oversee payroll, inventory control, and cost management initiatives to ensure financial health.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role in hospitality or food and beverage operations, with at least 2 years of experience in opening or launching a venue.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop a diverse team.
- Experience in managing P&L, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Passion for craft beer and a deep understanding of the BrewDog brand and its values.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on approach.
- Experience in the UAE market and knowledge of local laws and regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is a plus but not required.
