Senior Product Manager

As Senior Product Manager at UAS, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative digital products that serve both our customers and internal teams. You will take ownership of initiatives within the technology department, driving cross-functional projects that align with UAS's strategic objectives. In this role, you will work closely with diverse teams, including engineering, design, operations, sales, marketing, and senior leadership. From ideation through to launch, you will be the key driver in delivering high-quality products that meet both business and customer needs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for product development, a strong data orientation, and the ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution. You should excel in communication, stakeholder alignment, and the execution of product strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept through to delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, set timelines, and ensure successful product launches.
2. Strategic & Tactical Execution: Balance long-term vision with short-term needs. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions, prioritize initiatives, and manage resources effectively.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Ensure alignment on business goals and ensure smooth communication across teams.
4. User-Centered Development: Conduct user interviews, gather feedback, and leverage analytics to define customer-centric features and enhance the product experience. Own the product roadmap, define key milestones, and create detailed user stories to ensure development teams have clear guidance on deliverables.
5. Market & Competitive Analysis: Perform research to understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, using these insights to influence product strategy.
6. Process Improvement: Continuously refine product management processes, contributing to Agile methodologies and the overall efficiency of the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field. An MBA or post-graduate degree is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of proven experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment, with a track record of regularly shipping software products.
3. Strong experience with Agile methodologies, including writing PRDs, breaking down epics into shippable milestones, writing user stories, conducting interviews, and gathering feedback for iteration.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Proven ability to prioritize product features and make difficult trade-offs while ensuring business value and quality.
6. Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, etc.), listen to user feedback, and align internal stakeholders around product goals.
7. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, PowerBI) to gather insights and guide product decisions.
8. Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Figma, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Bonus Points for:

1. Experience working with or integrating to flight planning software (e.g., Leon, Avianis, PFM).
2. Experience working in the aviation industry, and more specifically knowledge of the trip support market.
