We are looking for a Fairs & Events Specialist to join us in Dubai (hybrid) who will work closely with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, product development) to help align event objectives with overall business goals.

Here, you will make an impact in some key areas:

1. Event Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement detailed plans for events, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and venues.
3. Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and communications for events, including social media and email campaigns.
4. On-Site Management: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
5. Budget Management: Track expenses and manage budgets for each event, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
6. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct evaluations after events to assess success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
7. Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance the company’s presence at events.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher and experience in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality.
2. Proven experience in event planning or management, preferably in a corporate or trade show environment.
3. Knowledge of Medical industry trends and best practices in event management.
4. Experience with budgeting and financial reporting related to events.
5. Familiarity with digital event platforms and virtual events.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication, creative problem-solving, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
