Restaurant Manager In Room Dining

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing overall leadership and management of the in-room dining services of the hotel.
• Interacting with guests, suppliers, and other partners as required to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and maximize returns to the hotel.
• Motivating and supervising all employees involved in the provision of in-room dining, ensuring that the service they deliver aligns with the best Anantara service standards.
• Identifying training needs with the hotel training manager and developing and delivering required training for departmental employees to meet business needs. Supporting the training of Departmental Trainers to continue to improve hotel service levels.
• Being aware of the best external competitor offerings in the local market and continually working with hotel colleagues to improve our own offerings with the goal of being the best in the market for creativity, service, choice, and value for money.
• Coordinating with the purchasing department of the hotel for specific purchasing requirements relating to Room Service.
• Acting as a sales champion for the hotel, generating and following up on business referrals and potential sales leads to maximize business for the hotel.
• Scheduling and arranging private parties in rooms as per the request of the guest.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an In-Room Dining operations management role.
• Passion for leadership and teamwork.
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• College diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• Experience in bar management and menu engineering.

Additional Information:

Relocation to a remote area is required.
