Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer with a strong background & experience in the process plant & industrial jet washing/pressure cleaning industries. The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge in P&ID's, flow & pipe sizing calculations, pressure loss, and process mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining industrial processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification.
Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to identify areas for improvement.
Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes related to jet washing/pressure cleaning.
Perform process simulations and manage cost and time constraints.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop process documentation and operating instructions through purpose-designed methodologies.
Develop task-specific work packs including SWMS, JHA/JSA & risk assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices and innovative solutions.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of new equipment and systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven work experience in process engineering, preferably in the jet washing/pressure cleaning industry.
Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of P&ID's, flow calculations, pipe calculations, and pressure loss.
Familiarity with process engineering software packages (e.g., CAD, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
An understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and best practices.
Knowledge of pumps, water pressure, hydraulic systems, and water flows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with process simulations and optimization.
Knowledge of industry standards and certifications.
