Role Purpose: The Product Manager III is responsible for executing and refining strategic product initiatives as a crucial role in the product development process within Majid Al Futtaim Retail Digital, conducting thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive products, playing a pivotal role in shaping the product roadmap. The role holder is also responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements and working closely with stakeholders to prioritize features, ensuring that product development aligns with company goals. He/she is also responsible for collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing teams to guide the development process and deliver high-quality products. This role involves a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication to contribute to the success of the organization's product portfolio.
Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Product Strategy Management and Execution:
- Executing and refining the respective product vision and strategy for MAF Retail digital.
- Drive innovation by analyzing data and identifying emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities.
- Contribute to the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization and discovery to implementation.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Informed decision-making based on data analysis, product discovery, and various product testing strategies like AB, MVT, etc.
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure product discovery and data analysis to elevate business metrics and positive ROI.
- Act as a key liaison between product development and other business units.
- Lead scrum ceremonies for the team and create necessary artifacts viz. Epics, user stories, etc.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation and user guides.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders including engineering, marketing, design, and business teams.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Past experience and expertise in customer domain especially Loyalty subscription program is preferable.
Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with MAF Retail leadership and key stakeholders to provide them with regular updates through having an agreed communication plan that is conducive for the full duration of the project(s) to deliver on the business objectives.
- Build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with key personnel to help achieve organizational goals.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Product & Design function.
Audit and Reporting:
- Prepare business presentations and reports related to Product & Design function for various stakeholders on periodic and ad hoc basis as and when required.
- Perform regular audit of various processes for the Product & Design function in order to identify gaps and risks and propose corrective actions.
Policies and Procedures:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant Research policies, procedures, and standards.
Human Capital Responsibilities:
- Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements.
- Develop and implement on-the-job training for the team.
- Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan.
- Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail's corporate policies and relevant procedures.

Minimum Qualifications/education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in the same field is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 4-6 years of proven experience in product management within a tech or e-commerce company is highly desirable.
- Preferably 2 years in the retail/eCommerce business or closely related industry.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts and technologies.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong English language skills (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) with exceptional business writing; Arabic is a plus.
