About The Role

The Chief Support Services Officer (CSSO) will oversee the smooth operations of the Corporate Support Services Department, ensuring that key service functions such as HR & Admin, Legal & Compliance, and Government Relations are executed efficiently and cost-effectively. This leadership role involves aligning departmental operations with the group's broader business plans and strategic objectives while adhering to company policies and guidelines.


Primary Responsibilities
  1. Strategy Development: Lead the Corporate Support Services Department, setting the mission, vision, objectives, and KPIs in line with the group's strategic goals.
  2. Execution: Identify opportunities for synergies across functions, guide and support department directors, manage performance appraisals, and oversee the submission of monthly and quarterly reports to senior management.
  3. Supervision: Develop business plans, budgets, and resource plans for HR & Admin, Legal & Compliance, and Government Relations, ensuring alignment with group objectives. Review and ensure compliance with corporate policies and control frameworks.
  4. Coordination: Oversee the recruitment process for senior positions, address employee grievances, manage relationships with external legal counsel, and ensure compliance with legal regulations across the organization.

Requirements
  1. Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field (Law, HR, etc.). A Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or HR is preferred.
  2. Experience: At least 12 years of relevant leadership experience. Experience in the MENA region is advantageous. Proven experience in client relationship management, market research, and analysis.

  1. Expertise in HR processes, metrics, and best practices.
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  3. Strategic thinking and ability to drive organizational change.
  4. Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  5. Analytical, planning, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
