Job description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, ensuring accuracy in materials, labor, and overhead costs.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with landscape architects and designers to interpret project specifications and translate them into actionable cost plans.
Manage and monitor project budgets, providing regular updates and forecasts to stakeholders to ensure financial control.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
Evaluate and select suitable materials for landscaping projects based on durability, cost, and aesthetic value.
Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Landscape Architecture, or a related field is essential.
Professional certification from a recognized body, such as RICS, is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying specific to landscaping or related sectors.
Experience in project management and familiarity with landscape construction methods is preferred.
Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools, such as CostX or Bluebeam, is a must.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy in cost estimation and project documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus, especially in regions with diverse populations.
