Job description

The HRBP will play a critical role in managing HR functions across all companies within the group. The role requires expertise in managing recruitment agencies, conducting interviews, hiring for retail, finance, and real estate sectors, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws. The HRBP will work closely with business leaders to drive people strategies that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

  1. Oversee and manage relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure timely hiring of quality talent.
  2. Lead the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  3. Conduct interviews and ensure the selection of candidates aligns with company objectives.
  4. Specialize in hiring for retail, finance, and real estate sectors, ensuring industry-specific hiring best practices.
  5. Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.

HR Operations & Compliance:

  1. Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, visa processing, WPS (Wage Protection System), and employment contracts.
  2. Handle employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions in line with labor regulations.
  3. Manage HR policies and procedures to align with business needs and legal requirements.
  4. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining employment contracts and HR policies.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  1. Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing HR insights and solutions.
  2. Support performance management initiatives, including appraisals, KPIs, and career development plans.
  3. Foster a positive work culture by driving employee engagement and retention strategies.
  4. Conduct employee training and development programs to enhance workforce skills and productivity.

HR Strategy & Business Alignment:

  1. Work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
  2. Provide HR analytics and reports on employee turnover, hiring trends, and workforce planning.
  3. Develop and execute HR initiatives that enhance company productivity and employee satisfaction.
  4. Identify areas for process improvements and implement HR best practices across all companies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications such as CIPD or SHRM preferred).
  2. Minimum 10+ years of experience in an HR role, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or senior HR position.
  3. Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations.
  4. Proven experience in hiring for retail, finance, and real estate sectors.
  5. Experience in managing recruitment agencies and external hiring partners.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks across different companies.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  9. Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and HR reporting tools.
