The job scope includes:
Stock, load, cut and sort product in order to ensure maximum availability and department sales.
Operate equipment (pallet jack, box cutters, dollies, cleaning supplies etc.) according to company guidelines.
Efficiently handle computerized inventory that involves barcode scanners, pricing machines, calculators etc.
Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement.
Arrange and maintain product displays with approval, stock shelves (refill) and take product inventory.
Apply product knowledge while assisting colleagues and improve the same on a regular basis.
Work on promotions and achieve set targets.
Ensure a clean and safe environment.
Stock shops and build and maintain displays.
Assist in keeping front and back of house clean and mopping up spills etc.
Answer department phone and provide assistance to callers.
Maintain production counts by pallets and/or cases and assist with departmental ordering.
Ensure all products displayed are properly labeled as per our brand standards.
Assist in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
Perform any other tasks that may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Medically able to work in all weather conditions.
Physically able to carry/lift items, climb ladder etc.
Job Essentials:
Higher secondary or equivalent
Moderate verbal communication skills
Basic knowledge of cash handling skills
Good communication skills
Job Desirables:
Previous retail and/or warehousing experience
Previous experience in merchandising and warehousing
Any other language would be an advantage
Previous cash handling skills
