The Head of Sales Operations is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth, manage key client relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team. This job oversees all corporate fleet sales activities and drives sales efforts to enhance the business’s position with corporate customers.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement the corporate sales strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.
Identify new market opportunities and devise strategies to expand the corporate client base.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs for the corporate sales team and monitor their performance regularly.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring consistent adherence to dealership standards.
Collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to strategize and support individual sales representatives in achieving their goals.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Serve as the main point of contact for escalated client issues, ensuring swift resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular client reviews and feedback sessions to gather insights for continuous improvement.
Train and mentor the corporate sales team to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Finance departments to ensure seamless execution of promotional campaigns and accurate financial planning.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to share market insights, sales projections, and progress towards goals.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to present to senior management.
Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and refine strategies for better outcomes.
Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.
Work Experience
Min. of 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role including 7 years as the head of the function or in a similar position.
Experience in the Automotive Industry.
Profit and Loss experience and strong financial acumen.
Experience in maintaining the profitability of a department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Education
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Preferably Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar degree.
