Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will apply your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling to extract insights, build predictive models, and optimize processes. Your work will directly contribute to our ground-breaking biomedical research activity.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
2. Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address biomedical challenges.
3. Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and improve processes.
4. Communicate findings through compelling data visualizations and reports.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate data-driven solutions.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

Required Qualifications:

1. Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, or related fields.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
4. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).
5. Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
2. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
3. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
4. Background in engineering/healthcare/biotechnology.
