About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an entrepreneurial and driven Customer Success Manager to join our growing Customer Success team. The Middle East is an exciting region for Sparta, with huge opportunity- and we are just getting started. This role offers you the opportunity to get in at the beginning and build and own Customer Success in the region and join a close-knit, friendly and driven team.
You’ll work collaboratively with our Sales team and wider business to drive customer success, product adoption, retention, and growth for a designated portfolio of clients that includes hedge funds, retailers, oil majors, refiners, vessel owners and trading companies. You'll need to engage and build effective relationships with customers and you’ll own the full customer success lifecycle, including onboarding support, adoption, advocacy and retention. You’ll represent the voice of the customer back into the business, ensuring that we maintain a laser focus on customer needs.
About you:
- Experience supporting clients within the energy or commodities sector, playing a pivotal role in managing client relationships for a respected company with a market-leading product. You’ll have proven experience in sales and post-sales roles, and ideally you’ll have worked within a SAAS business.
- Knowledge or experience in oil or commodities trading and understanding of the unique challenges of our customer base.
- Possess a natural energy that drives you to deeply connect with your client base, identifying risks and growth opportunities, and working closely with the sales team to manage these.
- A persuasive communicator, with strong influencing and negotiating skills. Exceptional presentation and communication skills in English.
- Enthusiastic, curious, creative, resilient, and inquisitive mindset.
- Passionate and driven to achieve revenue growth and expand client accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of value drivers within recurring revenue models.
