Procurement Engineer

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the procurement category of engineering.

• Fluency in English and great communication skills
• UAE experience
• Civil Engineer degree
• Knowledge of contracts and techno-commercial issues
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the finalisation of goods and services in accordance with the contract terms, within the time frames and budget to process the Purchase Orders.

Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and issuing the RFQs to the qualified vendors
• Keeping up-to-speed with the project schedule, focusing on value engineering
• Obtaining quotes and analyzing the bids
• Negotiating with vendors
• Checking requisitions for clarity
• Liaising with the project team throughout the process
