Auto CAD Engineer

Job Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure designs meet on-site conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, reports, and drawing revisions.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and effective communication.
- Utilize advanced AutoCAD features such as dynamic blocks and parametric constraints to enhance design efficiency.
- Prepare materials for presentations, including drawings and models, to effectively communicate design intent to clients.
- Assist in estimating project costs and timelines by providing accurate drawings and technical information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to continually improve design practices and productivity.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on design feasibility and potential challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Revit or SketchUp is advantageous for comprehensive project work.
- Experience in building design and construction documentation enhances candidate's suitability.
- Certification in AutoCAD or similar CAD software is highly preferred to validate technical skills.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AutoCAD drafting within the architecture or engineering sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex design requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
