We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager / PR Sales Manager to join our dynamic PR agency in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the PR industry, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development within the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients in target markets across the UAE and GCC, develop strategies to approach them, and create tailored proposals to secure new business.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs, presenting innovative PR solutions, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors within the UAE and broader MENA region. Use this information to inform business development strategies and identify new revenue streams.
Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with the agency's goals. Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the PR, marketing, and creative teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients. Provide feedback to teams to optimize service offerings.
Pitching and Presentations: Lead the preparation and delivery of high-impact presentations and pitches to prospective clients. Articulate the agency's value proposition effectively.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet the agency's financial goals.
Networking and Representation: Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities across Dubai and the UAE to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management. Forecast revenue and set achievable targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the PR, advertising, or media industry in the UAE or GCC.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the PR industry, including key players, trends, and best practices, with a focus on the UAE market.
Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, pitching, and presentation skills.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
