Senior Mason

Description

We are looking for a Senior Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of Gulf. The candidate should have a strong understanding of masonry principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine the layout of the project
• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation
• Cut and trim bricks or concrete blocks using hand and power tools
• Install firebrick linings in industrial furnaces
• Repair and maintain existing masonry structures
• Ensure that the work site is clean and free of debris at the end of the day

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of Gulf
• Strong understanding of masonry principles and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Proficient in mixing mortar and grout
• Knowledge of various types of bricks and concrete blocks
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Excellent physical fitness and manual dexterity
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Good communication and teamwork skills
