Senior Project Director - New Business Operations

Miral Experiences is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Director – New Business Operations to lead the development and operational integration of new attractions. This role serves as the key liaison between Miral Experiences and Miral Development, ensuring that projects are strategically designed and executed with operational excellence from pre-concept to pre-opening.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple new attraction projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and operational readiness.
• Develop, maintain, and report on operational readiness, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and internal policies.
• Act as the operational representative between Miral Experiences and Miral Development to ensure seamless project execution.
• Establish the tools and systems necessary to proactively manage and report on all aspects of operational readiness.
• Plan and manage budgets for both pre-opening and post-opening phases.
• Act as the bridge between operations and development to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align goals.
• Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Oversee and supervise project and program managers, providing feedback and resolving complex challenges.
• Introduce methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and risk management.
• Compile detailed progress reports and present key findings to executive management.
• Ensure new projects comply with Miral Experiences’ operational requirements, standard operating procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Lead strategic and quantitative assessments, making data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
• Participate in New Business Operations management team discussions, contributing to key departmental decisions.
• Define and implement the appropriate organizational structure for each new project to ensure service excellence while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have experience in theme park, museum, zoo, or large-scale entertainment operations.
• University Degree in Engineering / Project Management (PMP, RICS certification is a plus)
• 12 years of management experience, including both strategic and tactical leadership.
• 3 years in a senior management role or as a Project Director.
• Proven ability to manage complex contractual agreements and project execution.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in budget planning and cost management.
• High-level presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset.
• Background in F&B, retail, park services, or facilities operations is an advantage.
• Proven expertise in managing new projects, including implementing new systems and structures.
• Understanding of the gap between construction and operations—ensuring that projects align with operational requirements.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
• Have the ability to visit construction sites to ensure operational requirements are met.
