Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Description:

  1. Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee store operations, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to drive performance.
  3. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
  4. Monitor and manage store inventory levels, maintaining accurate records and timely replenishments.
  5. Ensure the store's visual appeal and organization are consistently maintained.
  6. Address customer complaints and inquiries, delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  7. Contribute to the development of store policies and procedures, promoting compliance among staff members.
  8. Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by actively promoting products and driving sales.
  9. Facilitate regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep employees informed and engaged.
  10. Assist in conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
  2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  8. Knowledge of inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.
