Head of Design – Womenswear

A unique and exciting opportunity within a well established retail group based in Dubai, UAE. They are currently looking to hire a talented and creative Designer to head the Design Team for the womenswear category.

For this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading the design direction of the womenswear category
2. Developing the design vision of the category and working with the Buying Team, ensuring that it is well reflected in the samples and prototypes
3. Keeping up to date with the current trends, identifying new design opportunities and presenting them to the design team
4. Close monitoring of the seasons collection and advising on any adjustment if necessary

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

1. Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent
2. Professional designing experience
3. High level of creativity with a keen eye for design
4. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other digital design tools
5. A competitive attitude with the ability to take initiative
