Finance Officer - Invoicing & Billing

Synopsis

The Finance officer within the Accounts receivables team will be responsible for highly detailed client-specific invoices across multiple business areas. Liaising with various commercial revenue teams - Charter, holidays, engineering - for billing processes. You will make sure accounting is timely and accurate.

Accountabilities

1. Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing and managing billing interfaces
2. Ensures Invoices are delivered to the customer on timely bases
3. Performs daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claims
4. Monitors the billing metrics database and utilize the metrics to improve the performance
5. Reconciling billing customer accounts to the Revenue ledger
6. Perform month end Closing activities and manage revenue billing accruals
7. Support internal and external auditors queries
8. Support Tax team with billing queries
9. Ensure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodies
10. Assist with the implementation of a new billing systems
11. Co-ordinating with accounts receivable, credit/collections and GL team

Education & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field Minimum
2. Knowledge of main ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) is preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years of work experience within relevant field.
4. Ability to prioritize and manage time.
5. Good communications skills in both spoken and written
6. Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
