Finance Specialist

Position: Finance Specialist

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Finance Specialist at Seattle Aviation Solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Cash Flow Management: Assist in the cash flow management of all Seattle Aviation Group companies.
2. Accounts Receivable/Payable: Regularly review customer and vendor accounts to ensure collections and payments are applied correctly, discrepancies are identified, and issues are resolved promptly.
3. Sales and Purchase Operations: Oversee sales and purchase operation cycles, manage credit holds, and ensure prompt and responsive action within your area of responsibility.
4. Collections Management: Follow up on collections with customers to ensure timely payments and manage credit risk.
5. Payment Processing: Ensure the timely processing and recording of payments to vendors and collections from customers, including assigned journal entries.
6. Bank Relations: Manage relationships and communication with banks.
7. Month-End Close: Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures and the development and deployment of internal best practices.
8. Data Management: Manage vendor and customer data, validate and approve new accounts, and maintain records of data changes and approvals.
9. Budgeting: Assist in the budgeting process, monitor budget adherence, and report on variances.
10. Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports for management.
11. Audit Support: Provide support during audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
12. Systems: Utilize ERP systems (Accounting Seed, Salesforce, Zoho) for accounting tasks and financial management.
13. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
3. Must be willing to work on-site in Dubai office
4. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle)
5. Advanced Excel skills
6. Excellent communication skills in English
7. A can-do attitude with a results-oriented and analytical approach
8. Agility and adaptability to navigate a fast-paced operational environment

Job Type: Full-time, Night Shift (8 PM - 4 AM Dubai Time)
