Light Bus Driver

To support AAC Vehicle Yard Operations with daily activities across processes.

Responsibilities

1. Drive vehicles from one point to the next – based on daily instructions and requirements.
2. Ensure adherence to yard rules. Safety of members and quality of vehicles is top priority.
3. Perform basic quality inspection on vehicles within storage yard.
4. Support with any ad-hoc operational requirements as and when requested by supervisor.
5. Carefully affix RFID tags on vehicles.
6. Ensure performance of process using RFID scanners.
7. Perform periodical battery health checks using authorized devices as per instruction.
8. Perform battery fluid checks and top up battery fluids as per instructions.
9. Perform vehicle waxing on chrome parts as per instructions.
10. Perform vehicle wash activities before vehicle delivery.
11. Perform fuel dispensing to vehicles as per norms.
12. Manage all related fuel station management activities with respect to safety protocols.
13. Record daily fuel utilization in the system and perform fuel stock taking.
14. Perform basic quality inspection of all vehicles handled with respect to exterior/interior (conditions) and moving parts.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Secondary School Certificate. Diploma / ITI in Automotives / Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (Manual – License No 3 & 5).
3. 2 years’ experience or more in a similar job profile.
4. Proficiency in writing and speaking skills in English.
5. Basic maths knowledge.
6. Ability to focus on details with respect to vehicle models/specifications/features/colours.
7. Ability to quickly identify defects/issues in vehicles. Good observational ability.
8. Quick learner, adaptable, and willing to learn.
9. Ability to take up a tiring job profile which warrants long hours standing, more distance walking, and working in hot climatic conditions in an open yard.
10. Sound physical and mental health & stamina without any chronic ailments or medical history.
