EAL Coordinator

About the Role

At BISAD, we pride ourselves on our individualised EAL provision and have built a substantial whole-school team of trained EAL SSAs, TAs, and Specialist TAs to carry out the important work of supporting our EAL learners. The role of the EAL Coordinator is to manage this team, coordinating and quality assuring support for pupils with EAL across the school and contributing to raising the educational achievement of these pupils by working in sustained collaboration with teaching staff and parents. The EAL Coordinator will have both teaching and management duties; furthermore, the successful applicant will be able to work effectively with various stakeholders across the school, including Finance, SLT/PLT, year groups, subject departments, Marketing, and Admissions.
