Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Director to lead our technical operations and drive innovation within our organization. The Technical Director will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our projects, ensuring that engineering and manufacturing processes align with industry standards and client specifications. This role is critical in supporting our commitment to excellence in serving various industries and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance and support in engineering design, project execution.
• Develop and implement technical strategies and processes to enhance productivity.
• Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and quality assurance, to align technical initiatives with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all technical operations and processes.
• Provide technical expertise and support in resolving complex engineering challenges and issues.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions within the technical team.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge in mechanical engineering principles, design study, draft drawings and bill of quantity.
• Comprehensive understanding in manufacturing machines and processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in various fields.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, CATIA V5, AutoCAD and similar software.
• Strong knowledge in the science of materials.
• Experience with ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge in pressure vessel code, pipelines and in oil & gas industries.
• Familiarity with structural engineering.
• Comprehensive experience in standards such as ASME, EN 1090-2 and ISO 3834-2.
