Preparation of all technical drawings
Communicating with engineers and architects and incorporating the information into the drawings
Ensuring final drawings are compliant with building regulations
Staying updated on advancements in drafting technology and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality of work
Working alongside the engineering team for preparing and reviewing the drawings
Identifying and communicating potential problems in design to the rest of the team
Providing technical support to project teams during construction, helping to resolve any issues that arise related to the drawings
Maintaining an organized filing system for all drawings and related documents, facilitating easy retrieval and reference
Coordinating with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical) to ensure integrated design and avoid conflicts in drawings
Implementing industry standards and codes in all drafting work, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations
Conducting site visits to gather information and assess conditions, ensuring that drawings reflect real-world scenarios
Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and construction details, to support project execution
Reviewing and modifying existing drawings based on updates or changes from project stakeholders, maintaining version control
Creating detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and other design software, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard drafting software
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in civil drafting
Experience in a construction or engineering firm
Fluency in English, with strong communication skills
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies in drawings
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Problem-solving abilities for quick resolution of issues during the drafting process
Adaptability to changing technologies and methods in drafting
