Head Waiter/Incharge Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Waiter/Incharge to lead our restaurant team.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the waitstaff team, ensuring all members perform their duties efficiently and professionally.
• Customer Service: Ensure guests receive exceptional service by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and effectively.
• Training & Development: Train new waitstaff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction to enhance continuous development of the team.
• Order Management: Oversee the order-taking process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in delivering food and beverages to guests.
• Service Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments for seamless service and prompt delivery of orders.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to by the team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a head waiter or supervisory role within a restaurant is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; additional language skills are beneficial.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with ease.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
