You will ensure the school operates efficiently and safely by managing buildings, infrastructure, and staff housing. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee maintenance and repairs, ensure compliance with safety standards, and contribute to sustainability initiatives, all while upholding the school's inclusive ethos.

• Maintenance Oversight: Ensure all facilities are in top condition through regular inspections, repairs, renovations, and coordinating with third-party providers.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and maintain safety protocols, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and hygiene standards in line with local regulations.
• Security Management: Supervise security systems and staff to ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and school property.
• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the facilities team, including cleaners, security, and maintenance personnel, to maintain high standards of performance.
• Vendor and Budget Management: Oversee contracts with external vendors, manage the facilities budget, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Drive energy efficiency, recycling programs, and sustainable practices to reduce the school's carbon footprint.
• Staff Housing Management: Oversee staff accommodations, ensuring they meet safety and comfort standards, and handle tenancy agreements and renewals.

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in IT tools and systems relevant to facilities management.
