JOB DESCRIPTION: COMMERCIAL MEDICAL ESCORT

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Regional Clinical Manager, Base Clinical Lead

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS

1. Registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for United States or comparable program of nursing for foreign based operations. National Registered Paramedic (NRP) for United States Locations or Certified Paramedic for foreign based operations.
2. Must have a valid unrestricted nursing/paramedic license from the country and/or state(s) of primary practice as required for their assigned base of operations.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience.
4. Must hold current unrestricted passport.
5. Must maintain a valid unrestricted license while contracted with AirMed.
6. Current certifications in CPR (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
7. Maintain appropriate expertise and certification for age specific populations for which they provide care.
8. Commercial travel experience, domestic and international preferred.
9. Excellent communication skills to maintain quality patient care and to promote the goals relationships with patients, family, and other personnel.
10. Ability to work and collaborate well with others.
11. Have knowledge of computer charting systems and use of iPad and cell phones.
12. Successful completion of the AirMed Transport Program orientation.
