BID WRITER PROJECT + COST MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SERVICES, DUBAI, UAE

INTRODUCTION:

UN!Q Project Solutions, a 10-year-old business with circa 110+ staff across the KSA, UAE, and India, is looking to strengthen its Bid Management team to secure further project awards. The chosen candidate will be reviewing received RFPs and preparing Bid Submissions for Project + Cost Management Services predominantly across Hospitality, Residential, Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism, and Commercial sectors in the Middle East.

Reporting to the bid lead(s) (Managing Director, Country Director, Head of Project Management, Head of Cost Management), the selected candidate will be expected to deliver best-in-class Bid Writing Services, where an eye for detail, consistency, and unique selling points (USP) in presentation is paramount to a successful document.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Register the business with Client organisations
  2. Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
  3. Map out planned Client projects, programmes, and portfolios
  4. Secure RFPs in specific service lines
  5. Review Request For Proposals (RFPs), identify Technical and Financial/Commercial components, and collate proposals in coordination with the bid lead support
  6. Write any content, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements
  7. Review, edit, and write supplementary documents
  8. Maintain and expand the knowledge base, including design templates, bid evidence, trade licenses, project profiles, CVs, etc.
  9. Ability to identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant
  10. Ensure winning themes are articulated in such a way as to meet Client requirements and highlight USP
  11. Manage CRM software and reporting
  12. Prepare fortnightly Bid Management report for Directors to identify Bids, Potential Revenue, Win Ratios, etc.
  13. Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills
  14. Proven ability to solve problems creatively and analytical skills
  15. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, where level of detail does not suffer
  16. Communication and influence at senior (Director) levels via strong interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognised UK University
  2. 5+ years of Bid Writing for a Project + Cost Management Consultancy
  3. Expert in Written and Spoken English
  4. Strong familiarity with PDF Editor and InDesign, etc.
