Reporting To: Civil & Structural Department Manager
Responsibilities:
Act as Civil & Structural team lead for feasibility and concept study, pre-FEED, FEED, basic engineering, and tender design for the assigned projects.
Ensure all Civil Structural & Architectural (CSA) engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in adherence with project schedule and quality, and issued within the budgeted hours.
Coordinate the preparation, quality control, internal quality procedures, approval issue, and (where applicable) client approval of CSA engineering documents and drawings.
Ensure all civil and structural deliverables are being issued fully aligned with all other disciplines like piping, mechanical, HSE, electrical, and instrument.
Work with other discipline engineers within PMC, EPC contractor, vendors, and client/operation/site interface to resolve technical issues and ensure safe and quality execution of Civil and Structural engineering activities.
Manage internal interfaces with Project Managers and Project Engineering Managers for the assigned projects.
Provide technical guidance and job training to discipline engineers/junior engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents.
Qualifications:
Strong technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
Strong design and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
Good verbal and written communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
Wide knowledge of relevant technical and design software packages (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP, MAT3D, Mathcad, Master series, Navisworks, etc.).
Familiar with international codes and standards, and company standards.
Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the design of industrial and infrastructural facilities.
Experience in feasibility studies, conceptual design, pre-FEED, and FEED design in power generation, power distribution, water treatment, natural gas, and/or crude oil processing plant as a Lead Civil Structural Engineer.
Minimum 2 years working experience as a Lead Civil Structural Engineer.
Additional Information:
Academic Education: BS or equivalent level minimum in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University. Postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
