Creative Lead - Middle East

Duration: Permanent

Location: Dubai, UAE

At the time of the local office opening, employees and managers will partner to determine the work site location in line with our Flexible working policy (Remote, Full time in office, Less than 50% in office, and More than 50% in office).

Who You Are:

  • Do you have a strong collaborative creative vision and can convert data-backed insights into compelling visual narratives? If yes, this could be the opportunity that you have been seeking!
  • As Creative lead for the Middle East region, you will be responsible for developing and executing on a strategic creative vision.
  • You are passionate about visual communication and are comfortable sharing what you know with the creative team and content creators alike.
  • You will have a good understanding of the visual landscape and knowledge of visual trends in commissioned brand photography, with knowledge of stock photography beneficial.
  • You devise original shoot ideas based on analysis of data and be highly effective at communicating these ideas ensuring the content we are creating is both commercially relevant as well as award-winning.
  • You have a proven instinct for identifying and recruiting up-and-coming creators (stills and video) to create commercial content.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage many moving parts of multiple work streams operating simultaneously while still meeting deadlines.
  • As a creative problem-solver you will have the ability to quickly identify problems and work independently to find appropriate solutions.
  • You have a pulse on what’s new and next in art and culture and are not afraid to share your insights and perspective with a multi-disciplinary creative team.

Your Next Challenge:

  • Act as ambassador and pro-actively build advocacy for Getty Images and iStock amongst creators and the wider commercial photography community to help recruit, engage, and motivate our creators in the Middle East.
  • Mentor, strengthen, and develop creatives remotely across the Middle East through effective performance management.
  • Brainstorming new shoot ideas with support from the insights and curation team.
  • You will work on a range of initiatives and projects which help promote and showcase our work, strengthening Getty Images and iStock’s creative offering.
  • Offer support and growth of our Middle East based creators by providing advice on their roster’s portfolio, reviews, and guidance.
  • Strong collaborator to build and strengthen relationships internally with Creative Insights, Sales, Product, PR, and Marketing.
  • The role is as much about people as it is about creativity; you will build relationships across the business, our network of creators, and our customers.
  • Collaborate with the insights team and the curation and promotion team to create visual narratives for key research projects in the region.
  • Significantly grow the quality and quantity of creative content across the Middle East on all sites.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Creative for content metrics and performance against the creative strategy.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience within visual communications or advertising industries.
  • Proven track record in mentoring and development of creative managers and assistants.
  • Prepare and present your ideas through excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
