Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation, internal memos, newsletters, etc.
  2. Develop and manage employee engagement campaigns and take ownership of all internal communication strategies while working alongside HR for content development.
  3. Shape and lead delivery of a wide range of employee communication programs, activities, and campaigns.
  4. Work with key internal senior management to brainstorm content ideas in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
  5. Be proactive and demonstrate initiative in starting new projects or thinking of new ways to maximize existing programs to support our employee communication goals.
  6. Responsible for editorial content and translation for internal and external content.
  7. Develop content, stories, and engagement for use across all internal communication channels in both languages.
  8. Educate and empower employees regarding EDB’s purpose and strategy and their role within the organization.
  9. Draft and edit content for internal publications and platforms, including intranet articles, presentations, information emails, and organization announcements.
  10. Responsible for developing award applications for EDB and business heads with external parties.
  11. Possess highly proficient written English and verbal communication skills, with excellent copywriting, copy editing, and proofreading skills.
  12. Create and deliver communication plans and activities that achieve clear and measurable outcomes.
  13. Build effective relationships and strong rapport with a wide range of colleagues, including business heads, working collaboratively while also advising and challenging constructively.
  14. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to build the company brand through enhancing social media platforms.
  15. Support in developing and producing marketing materials, including advertising, collateral pieces, and other marketing initiatives such as annual reports, CSR reports, content writing, posters, banners, logos, presentations, and speeches.
  16. Develop content for press releases, the company website, infographics, blogs, and digital posts.
  17. Manage internal and external campaigns and conduct daily follow-ups with agencies.
  18. Manage agency briefings and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
  19. Work closely with business units in assessing their communication requirements.
  20. Support media relations (media round tables, interviews, media invites, press conferences, PR, and others).
  21. Assist in major events from a communication standpoint.
  22. Actively participate in weekly meetings, workshops, and briefings.
  23. Learn and gain knowledge of company policies, communication protocols, and process workflows.
  24. Recommend the budget and monitor financial performance against the budget.
  25. Get involved in project assignments and actively contribute by adding value and producing meaningful content.
  26. Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
  27. Contact and coordinate with different suppliers, including website content developers and user experience channels.
