Structural Computational Designer

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed on the Computational Design and project-specific Workflow.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on computational design implementation workflows.
- Communicate design concepts and solutions to the design teams and other stakeholders.
- Create and manage digital models and parametric scripts to support decision-making throughout the design process.
- Validate Computational design models to accommodate BEP requirements.
- Investigate the latest industry tools and methodologies for automation and design optimization.
- Conduct research to enable and support projects through computational design technologies.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years’ hands-on experience working on computational design and delivery of notable projects with renowned design consultancy practices.
- Expert knowledge of BIM process and Revit.
- Expert knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper Scripting and Rhino inside Revit is a must.
- Ability to write scripts and algorithms to automate design tasks.
- Experience in understanding and handling complex geometries is a must.
- Familiarity with Structural design software, tools and CSI API Knowledge (SAP, ETABS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C#.
- Knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) Standards.
