Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Media Relations
- Develop relationships with local and international travel lifestyle and hospitality journalists and influencers.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and announcements to promote the hotel’s offerings and events.
- Coordinate media visits, interviews, and press conferences to increase media coverage and visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and provide management with insights on the hotel’s public perception.
Guest Relations and Reputation Management
- Address guest inquiries or complaints professionally and swiftly, maintaining a positive public image.
- Monitor online reviews and social media mentions, responding to guest feedback in a manner that reflects the hotel’s standards.
- Develop strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and retention through effective communication.
Content Creation and Social Media Management
- Develop content for the hotel’s website, blog, and social media channels to engage followers and attract new guests.
- Plan and implement social media campaigns highlighting hotel promotions, services, and local attractions.
- Oversee the creation of visually appealing content such as videos, photos, and graphics to showcase the hotel’s unique features and experiences.
Event Management
- Plan, promote, and execute events, press tours, and influencer visits to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract guests.
- Coordinate with the events and food & beverage teams to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest experiences.
- Represent the hotel at travel and hospitality industry events, trade shows, and community functions.
Brand Partnerships and Influencer Marketing
- Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, bloggers, and local businesses to increase the hotel’s exposure.
- Establish partnerships with travel agencies, tourism boards, and other industry-related organizations to boost brand presence.
Research and Analytics
- Conduct research on hospitality trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences.
- Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide insights and recommendations to improve strategies.
Requirements
Gender: Male only
Education: Graduate
- 12 years local experience liaising with Immigration, Labor department, and other government departments for all employee affairs.
- Experience in public relations or communications, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Knowledge of UAE Labor Laws.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional guest-focused approach.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to the hotel’s fast-paced environment.
