We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in El-Ain! As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious desserts and pastries that are visually appealing and always exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide range of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
Ensure all ingredients used are fresh, high quality, and meet food safety standards
Decorate pastries and desserts in an aesthetically pleasing manner
Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and place orders when necessary
Train and supervise kitchen staff on pastry techniques and recipes
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items and specials
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment at all times
Requirements:
Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker in a fast-paced restaurant or bakery
Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
Creativity in designing unique desserts that appeal to different tastes
Strong time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Excellent communication skills to effectively train kitchen staff on pastry techniques
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
Proficient in English; Arabic language skills preferred
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and withstand high temperatures
Salary: 1700$ per month depending on experience.
