Sr. Manager Automation and AI

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI and automation solutions that solve complex business problems.
• Evaluate tools and technologies for data storage, processing, and analysis and make recommendations to management.
• Identify opportunities for automation across business operations and create solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and increase productivity.
• Integrate AI and automation technologies with existing systems, tools, and data pipelines to ensure seamless operation.
• Implement AI governance to comply with Governance regulations.
• Develop and maintain the infrastructure needed to run automated workflows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and monitoring.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and self-healing mechanisms.
• Identify manual, time-consuming tasks across departments (e.g., data entry, report generation, inventory tracking) and create automated solutions to handle these tasks.
• Develop AI models that analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that help guide business decisions.
• Build AI-driven recommendation engines, personalized content delivery systems, or predictive maintenance models to improve product features and personalization.
• Design AI and automation systems with scalability in mind, allowing the organization to handle increased workloads and adapt to new challenges without significant rework.
• Build AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, or automated ticketing systems to handle common customer inquiries or problems.
• Implement AI-based testing systems to automatically check product functionality, performance, or security, and catch defects early in the development cycle.
• Support internal and external audits, including gathering documentation and responding to audit findings related to data infrastructure.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Advanced AI/ML Algorithms & Techniques.
• Strong understanding of various AI algorithms and their application to real-world business problems.
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation pipelines using RPA (Robotic Process Automation) especially Microsoft Power.
• Expertise in machine learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning), deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, GANs), natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
• Advanced programming skills in languages like Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for managing big data and implementing scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical skills for working with large datasets, conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA), and applying statistical models for business insights.
• At least 8-10 years in developing and deploying AI models, including implementing algorithms for supervised/unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and model optimization, machine learning and other AI techniques.
• Designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows and integrating automation into business processes.
• 4–8 years working with data pipelines, ETL processes, data processing, handling structured/unstructured data, and ensuring the data architecture is scalable and integrated with AI/automation systems.
• 2–3 years collaborating with business stakeholders, IT departments, product managers, and data scientists to ensure AI/automation solutions align with business needs.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end development, from problem identification, solution design, model development, and testing to deployment and continuous monitoring of AI and automation systems.
• Experience in leading junior AI / Automation engineers and collaborating with data scientists and data analysts.
