Leads innovation teams and owns Phase Gate process to drive innovation for portfolio. Develops both short and long-term strategies through customer and competitive insights, driving strategy into tactical execution. Acts as a champion of the Ecolab brand and delivery of the Ecolab Experience.

Ecolab is seeking candidates for a Marketing Manager Institutional Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and Saudi Arabia. Candidates will demonstrate proven success in the following core marketing and communication competencies: analysis & insights, developing effective and efficient marketing strategies & tactics, driving growth & innovation strategy and execution, leading P&L/portfolio management, brand building, and developing and building marketing talent.

The person will:

What You Will Do:

  • Develop short and long-term strategies and plans by developing in-depth market knowledge and trends to determine priority segments and go-to-market approach to drive profitable sales growth.
  • Support sales growth, customer retention, and profitability of the business within the business platform by supporting strategic planning and execution of marketing programs.
  • Drive marketing efforts and strengthen value proposition and communicate customer value delivery.
  • Capture Voice of Customer and Voice of Business to determine innovation needs and execute strong innovation pipeline.
  • Develop short and long-term strategies and plans for demand generation, ongoing market research, customer needs assessment, sales and inventory forecasting, and customer and sales history analysis.
  • Execute marketing strategies, programs, and pricing strategies which will meet profit objectives for the business unit.
  • Stay current on market standards, trends, and practices and understand impact on Ecolab product line and business.
  • Manage the product portfolio effectively to deliver the profit goals.
  • Provide Ecolab sales force with leadership and marketing support including sales tools, training, competitive intelligence, and actionable reporting.
  • Assist in developing sales and customer training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs.
  • Provide competitive intelligence to the field sales teams to counter competitive offers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver project results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of professional experience or MBA in Marketing with 5 years of experience.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business-to-business marketing experience.
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements, and proven track record of results.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail, and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
