Job Responsibilities
- Create and develop comprehensive design drawings for structural projects.
- Ensure all drawings meet high standards of accuracy and detail.
- Develop detailed architectural and structural models using industry-standard software.
- Ensure models are precise, adhere to project specifications, and integrate seamlessly with other disciplines.
Rebar Detailing and Estimation:
- Perform accurate rebar quantity estimations to support project planning and budgeting.
Building Estimation and Concrete Quantity Survey:
- Prepare detailed building estimations, including materials, labor, and associated costs.
- Conduct thorough concrete quantity surveys to optimize resource utilization and ensure cost efficiency.
- Design safe and efficient formwork for all concrete members, ensuring formwork meets structural and project specifications.
Preparation of Detailed Views:
- Produce accurate and detailed plans, sections, and elevations for all project phases.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure views are comprehensive and meet project requirements.
Design of Concrete Structures:
- Utilize expertise to design robust and efficient concrete structures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaboration with Regional/International Teams:
- Work closely with regional and international teams to ensure project consistency and quality.
- Adapt designs to meet the specific needs and standards of different regions.
Software Proficiency:
- Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, PROKON, and Revit for structural analysis, modeling, and design.
- Utilize these tools to enhance project outcomes and ensure effective integration of structural and architectural designs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
Experience:
- 10+ years of professional experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the GCC region, with extensive experience on regional and international projects.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, PROKON, and Revit.
- Strong analytical, estimation, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in concrete formwork design, rebar detailing, and quantity surveying.
- Ability to prepare detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
