Workshop Manager

As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a workshop or maintenance facility. You will manage a team of technicians or mechanics and ensure that the workshop operates efficiently and effectively. A successful candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as technical expertise in the workshop's area of specialization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop.
• Assign tasks, supervise, and provide guidance to workshop staff.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and coaching as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer needs and timelines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workshop efficiency.
• Monitor and report workshop productivity and performance metrics.
• Stay updated with advances in workshop technology and best practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical degree or certification in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in workshop management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in workshop tools and equipment.
