Construction Foreman

Micah Solutions FZE is looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Foreman to join our client's construction team. As a Construction Foreman, you will play a vital role in supervising daily construction activities, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your hands-on experience and leadership skills will guide the construction crew and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, directing the activities of laborers and subcontractors.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to clarify project requirements and objectives.
• Monitor progress and provide on-site management to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Inspect work for quality and completeness, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, material used, and labor hours.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or GED; further education in construction management or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, tools, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate crew members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Willingness to work on-site and in various weather conditions.

• Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA) is advantageous.
• Experience with specific construction types (e.g., residential, commercial) relevant to ongoing projects.
