Roles and responsibilities

Our assistant product manager is an analytical and data-driven individual responsible for building products end-to-end, focusing on analyzing and experimenting until our solutions are perfectly tailored to our travelers. As an assistant product manager for Martech, you should have a background in working with web technologies and managing delivery teams. We expect you to have a hands-on mentality and spend considerable time with your SCRUM teams, have enthusiasm to develop engineered processes and technologies, and apply innovative solutions to make organizational improvements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sprint Planning, Execution and Product Rollout.
  2. Manage the entire Agile Lifecycle, from grooming to backlog review, daily standups, solutioning, and final delivery.
  3. Use Agile methodology to define product functionality, create user stories, and align with stakeholders and engineering teams.
  4. Ensure the execution of operational and configuration tasks within all Martech streams.
  5. Accountable for the roadmap that guides and monitors the development and launch plan for all products (websites/applications).
  6. Understand technical topics at a conceptual level as well as the systems and data that enable major capabilities.
  7. Make informed, data-driven decisions based on analytics.
  8. Able to clearly understand problem statements from the business and define efficient and scalable solutions to drive long-term value.
  9. Collaborate with marketing teams to design experimentation frameworks and feedback loops.
  10. Conduct experiments, test performance, and iterate rapidly.
  11. Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Marketing, Content, Core Product, and UX teams to deliver solutions aligned with the KPIs and company objectives.
  12. Communicate with other Product Manager(s) to ensure alignment across products in multiple product families.

Desired candidate profile
  1. We are open to considering Engineers who are looking to transition into Product Management as well.
  2. 2 or more years of experience in stakeholder management, team collaboration, etc.
  3. 2 or more years of experience in ongoing learning, development, and innovation.
  4. Experience and willingness to operate in Agile delivery framework.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline).
  6. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English) with a proven ability to convey complex messages clearly and with conviction to different stakeholders.
  7. Experience developing and launching products.
  8. Hands-on mentality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
